Position Summary
 
The Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing NJPNI's digital marketing strategy to strengthen the organization's online presence, increase brand awareness, support patient acquisition, and promote the Practice's physicians, programs, and services. This position serves as the primary steward of NJPNI's digital identity by managing social media platforms, website content, online provider profiles, search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives, digital advertising campaigns, and reputation management. This person  works collaboratively with physicians, executive leadership, IT, and external partners to create engaging content, analyze digital performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and execute marketing initiatives that align with the Practice's strategic goals. This role requires creativity, initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple projects while maintaining a consistent and professional brand image across all digital platforms.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
·         Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that increase patient referrals, promote physician services, and support organizational growth.
·         Manage NJPNI's online reputation by monitoring and responding appropriately to Google reviews and other public review platforms in collaboration with leadership.
·         Develop and maintain an annual digital marketing calendar that aligns with organizational initiatives, physician recruitment, community outreach, awareness campaigns, and strategic priorities.
·         Coordinate the promotion of new providers, specialty programs, clinical services, events, and community partnerships across all digital platforms.
·         Monitor website traffic, search rankings, conversion rates, and engagement metrics; prepare monthly analytics reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
·         Ensure all website and digital content is accurate, current, HIPAA-compliant, and consistent with NJPNI's branding standards.
·         Capture and create high-quality photo and video content highlighting providers, patient education, office activities, community events, and organizational milestones.
·         Identify emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and opportunities to improve patient engagement and brand visibility.
·         Ensures that NJPNI has a consistent presence on social media (daily, weekly etc.)
·         Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written).
·         Engage with patients when questions arise via email, reviews, social media etc.., reaffirming their concerns, and being active as a brand representative in organic conversations.
·         Analyze Google data with SEO and IT and tailor strategies that may enhance or maintain positive metrics.
·         Collaborate with the IT department (and physicians) in building Google Business profiles, website updates, and reports containing pertinent data that help the marketing team reach more tailored metrics.
·         Collaborate with executive leadership and the Board of Directors to develop, implement, evaluate, and refine digital marketing strategies that support organizational objectives.
·         Take pictures of in-office activity, outside events that involve NJPNI or celebratory/festive gatherings and ensure posting as appropriate on our social media platforms. 
·         Ensures that all providers have an online presence and their information is validated and updated frequently as needed (Healthgrades, USA Docs, US News and Health Reports, Google Business Reviews, In-House surveys etc..)
·         Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
·         Provide regular reports on social media performance and suggest improvements.
·         Prepared and always ready to add updates to our website and socials as needed.
·         Demonstrates social networking experience and social analytics tool knowledge
·         Knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Performance Expectations
·         Maintain an active and consistent presence across all NJPNI social media platforms.
·         Ensure content is posted according to the approved marketing calendar.
·         Monitor and respond to online reviews and digital inquiries in a timely manner.
·         Provide monthly analytics reports demonstrating engagement, website traffic, audience growth, and campaign effectiveness.
·         Demonstrate initiative by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance NJPNI's digital presence and marketing effectiveness.
·         Maintain a professional, collaborative, and highly responsive approach while managing multiple priorities.
·         Demonstrates initiative, creativity, accountability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently meeting deadlines and organizational objectives

Qualifications
 
·         Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Graphic Design, or a related field required.
·         Master's degree or professional marketing certifications (Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, Meta Blueprint, etc.) preferred.
·         Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in digital marketing, social media management, brand development, or communications. 
·         Experience developing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
·         Experience creating professional written, graphic, and video content for business or healthcare organizations preferred.
·         Healthcare or medical practice marketing experience strongly preferred.
 
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Standard office environment within a medical practice.
  • Frequent use of computers and telephones.
  • Occasional lifting of files, office supplies, or equipment (up to 20 lbs).
Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
