Position Summary

The Pediatric Neurology Program Director is responsible for the strategic planning and development of pediatric neurology service lines within a private practice setting. This position ensures that clinical programs are executed with high quality, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability. The Program Director partners closely with physician leadership, advanced practice providers and administration to scale integrated clinical programs, improve patient access and experience, and drive sustainable growth. This position is also responsible for the oversight of the neurology providers. 

This position does not include direct supervision, hiring, discipline, performance management, or scheduling of employees apart from Neurology providers. The Program Director works collaboratively with clinical leadership, operations, and administrative teams to ensure effective program execution.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead the design, launch and scaling of pediatric neurology programs and service lines. 
·         Translate clinical strategy into operationally executable workflows.
·         Build standardized care pathways for high-impact populations (ex. Epilepsy, autism, ADHD, headache, dysautonomia, neuroimmunology).
·         Identify growth opportunities for all NJPNI sites
·         Oversee the performance of neurology programs 
·         Standardize workflows across the Neurology Division
·         Support bundled scheduling and pathway-based care models.
·         Support compliance with regulatory, payer and documentation requirements
·         Assist in developing standardized templates and reporting tools.
·         Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to access, utilization, outcomes, and revenue.
·         Prepare regular program performance reports for leadership.
·         Participate in strategic planning and implementation initiatives
·         Support geographic and service line expansion projects.
·         Lead assigned projects from concept through implementation.
·         Develop timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
·         Monitor progress and escalate roadblocks to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare scheduling workflows preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Healthcare Administration or related medical field. 
  • Experience working in a specialty medical practice. 
  • Pediatric Neurology experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Standard office environment within a medical practice.
  • Frequent use of computers and telephones.
  • Occasional lifting of files, office supplies, or equipment (up to 20 lbs.).
Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
